GOT DOGS?

Today we are celebrating the twins birthday. Oka, so these didn't turn out like the picture I tried to copy them from, but somewhere in the middle of the night, with frosting all over me...heheehe... I was just happy they kinda sorta resembled dogs ...even if they looked more cartoonish...
I did 2 one for Ashley and one for Whitney. Since they probably rarely get their own special cake! For those of you that commented on that post I put up a couple weeks back I didn't make that cake...some expert cake maker did but I had to find a theme for the girls cakes and that is the one their mom chose....and I had to figure out how to do it myself ...since the creator gave no hints on what pans she used or what shapes to cut out
So ...I used a birthday hat pan and half of the wilton ball cake and just cut and assembled using frosting like glue then I used the grass wilton tip # 33 and after squeezing out alot of frosting hair I had fun pushing those noses into the frosting. I just found Valentine heart gummies and eyes out of goobers worked and then used some cute ribbon for the dogs hair accessories.

If you can't tell, this is supposed to be a dog water dish with the bones floating to appear as the #7 ( Thats how old the twins are...Wow time flies, I still have yet to put the girls names on it. The very last thing to do. I used fondant (bought the wrong colors by mistake and can I just say Fondant is a BiG Pain in the Petutie~ but if you do it right it looks good,,,,obv ( Ana's obv) OBV that I am still an amatuer...Oh if your wondering the water was just piping jell slightly tinted blue and so it gives a strange cake illusion of being water....Well if you use your imagination of course!
